Spooky Reads For Fall 2018

Hi All! I’ve been super excited lately about this upcoming Fall season! It’s my absolute favorite time of year, and I am SO finished with summer. I’ve already decorated my house in Fall decor, and I don’t even care that it’s still August because, I. Am. Ready.
I’ve put together some spooky and scary reads I’d like to get to this September and October!!

I’m not totally sure what the Halloween Tree is about, but just look at that cover? So creepy, and it’s a short read. Perfect for cuddling up with some hot tea and a sweater! As for Hocus Pocus, do I even need to explain myself? The original story is one of my all time favorite Halloween movies, and so a sequel? Uh, yes please.

The Haunting of Hill House is one that I’ve been meaning to get to forever, and seeing as it’s soon to be a Netflix series i figure there’s no time like the present!
See What I Have Done is a Lizzie Borden retelling, and I am pumped to read this one, its been on my radar forever and it’s perfect for this list!

Again, two scary novels that I am so excited to dive into! I’ve had Head Full of Ghosts now for a while, just waiting to eat it up during Fall! Haunted Nights is an anthology and sounds absolutely bone chilling. I know Blumhouse makes some crazy scary movies so I can only hope that this collection is just as terrifyingly awesome!!

Mmmmm, The Exorcist. I honestly can’t believe that I have had this sitting on my Kobo now for so long and still haven’t read it?! What the hell is up with that. Definitely getting to this one soon. The TV series based around it was so good, so I’m stoked. The Grip of It is a new purchase I just got from BookOutlet! The synopsis gave me total Amityville vibes, although the ratings aren’t great, I’m still going to give it a chance! And lastly I’ve got the graphic novel, After Life with Archie. This is such a fun read on one of my favorite childhood comics!

What are some spooky reads you recommend or think I could add to my list! Sound off in the comments below!
