My wrap up for the month of August is short and sweet because my life has been hectic. Between my sisters wedding, family visiting and work, I read a grand total of, TWO BOOKS. So, needless to say I will be amping it up in September.
The first book I read in the month of August was, Into The Night, the Samantha Walsh Story by Gordon Walsh. This is a true crime novel that’s local to me here in Newfoundland. Young Samantha Walsh went missing from Fleur D’lys, a small town on the west coast of the island. Samantha went missing one winter evening and the whole town searched relentlessly for her, meanwhile her killer was amongst them, aiding in the search.

The second books I read this month was the much anticipated sequel to Caraval, Legendary by Stephanie Garber. You can read my full spoiler free review, here.

And so, there you have it, my less than normal reads for the month of August. September will thankfully be less hectic, and so hopefully a better reading month!
