I loves me a good creepy exorcism book!
This was sosososososoooooooo good. I am a horror kick again at the moment, between TV/Movies and books I cannot get enough.
Paul Tremblay’s A Head Full of Ghosts tells the story of an average middle class family going through the potential possession of their 14 year old teenage daughter. The story is told from the perspective of the youngest sibling retelling the story years later to a writer who wants to write a novel on the case.
The eldest child tends to focus much of her creepiness onto her little sister and so many of the scares/weird scenes revolve around the two. The family also have a TV crew in their home because they have decided to make this situation in their lives all the more dramatic by allowing it to be filmed for a reality TV show. If it’s not recorded it didn’t happen, am I right?
I can’t really get a whole lot more into the plot without giving too much away, but this is a definite must read. I read the book both in physical form as well as through audio on Scribd. Both are great. The audio book narrator is excellent for this one!
